If possible, try to reserve these cards for your opponent’s costly Xyz Monsters, and the high-Level monsters your opponent had to Tribute Summon: destroy one of those, and it’s like destroying two or three monsters at once.
They have the most impact when they clear the way for a Duel-winning direct attack, when they’re effectively taking out more than one monster at a time, or when they allow you to save a vital monster for an Xyz or Tribute Summon next turn. If your opponent controls a bigger monster than yours and tries to make an attack, cards like Ego Boost, Prideful Roar, and Forbidden Lance can flip the script and send the attacker packing! But be careful: the Battle Packs you’re building with will only have a handful of cards like these, so make them count.
